Dear Residents and Public and Private Societal Actors,

We invite al of you to proactively take part, each according your interests and capacities,
in the realization of a project of national and historic importance for Portugal, setting an example for the whole world:
the socio-economical recuperation and societal dynamization of the thousands hectares of agro-forestry plots not exploited,
in Portugal in general and in particular in South-West Portugal.
Fact is that Portugal yearly imports, for billions of euros, products and sercvices that can be produced in the country,
creating tens of thousands of decent jobs.

The citizens' initiative SocietalSystem ( StS ), a platform with a collaborative databank and an e-racional society organization system,
not at least on regional and local level, in partnership with the real estate and other sectors,
currently prepares a movement to inventorize the large agro-forestry plots, principally from 25 ha,
and to elaborate  for each of them, an integrated innovative agro-forestry project, combining conventional activities
with cultural, educational and rural tourist initiatives, as well as research projects.

The whole set of projects should have an uncomparable impact in trms of environmenal regeneration, creation of jobs,
long term "panergetic growth, substantial reduction of public and private debt, consequently of taxes,
the application of decent retirement subventions for the elderly, the migration of part of the urban population to the countryside,
the convivialization of local communitieslocal and the attractivity of the country to responsable investors from all over the world, not at least the millions of portuguese expats.,
reinvesting the profits regionally, and finally, inducing a positive effect on north-south relations
and on the development of countries in the south, primaraly but not only the PALOP countries. ( ex-portugese colonies in Africa ).

There are currently about 200 large plots in view in the South-West Portugal region, other can be added,
spread all over the region, from Alcácer do Sal until Sagres.
Only this ensemble, once in development, represents a financial-economic volume
equivalent of more than 100 million euro per year, plus assuring 10.000+ stable and healthy jobs.
Indirecly even many more.

* The planned structures in the Large Plot Projects incude: Forestry Space, Agriculture Fields,  Vegetable and Flower gardens, Houses for Living, some specially for elderly people,
a Hostel, a Snackbar, a Botanical Park, Ecological Swimming Pool, Kids Spaces, Animal Spaces, Areas for Nature Exhibitions, ...

* The projected activities at the Large Plots include: Agriculture Cultures, Forestry Cultures, Vegetable Gardening,
Cultivation of Flowers and medicinal Plants, Food Production, Training Periods, Internships, Courses, Rural Tourism, Nature Feasts, Scientifical Research, Lazer, Cultivation, ...

We propose residents to motivate public and private social actors, local and national, to join the societal projects, in particular
the Network of Dynamization Projects of Large Agro-Forestry Plots, first in the South-West Portugal region.

We draw atention to the fact that SocietalSystem.com is not a "site", rather a platform of modulable documents,
that can be re-elaborated, calculated and replicated, indispensable for research, surveys, school projects and theses, governance deliberations and debates, voting
socio-economy solutions, public governance and private management of societal projects.
